Just a quick note as a follow on to our earlier emails. Wanted to let you know the thongs are wonderful! The most comfy shoes I can wear to relieve my plantar fasciitis. And let me tell you, I have many very expensive brands like Ecco, Frankie 4, Merrell and my beloved Birkenstocks. My Slappa's are more comfy than all of them. I just need you to now make a work shoe / closed in shoe with the same footbed!! Thanks again. I'll be purchasing a 2nd pair in the not too distant future, and singing your praises to all who will listen in the meantime.

Just letting you know my Slappa's arrived today. They are the most comfortable pair of thongs I have owned. I have been suffering ligament damage & fractured toe for weeks so the foot pain has been over bearing but no longer. First time in ages I have been able to walk pain free. Thanks for sponsoring our team the “Shorefooted Slappas”, in the “Barra Bass and Bream Digest Harbourmasters Invitational 2013. The bright matching purple numbers certainly got noticed! Rog was most impressed with their grip on the slippery boat ramp and how good his feet felt after a long day on the water. We managed to land 2 barra, 3 bream, 4 catfish, 1 shark, 1 trevally and hooked and lost another 8 barras. Alas, not good enough for a podium finish this year.

I have a pair of slappas and they are great. As a burns survivor they are the only comfortable footwear I can get on my feet. I have the green/ blue pair and love them. I have the biggest pair possible 32.5 cm and I am writing to ask if you will be doing the biggins in purple / black please.

I have not been able to wear thongs since I was a kid and while on holidays in Darwin I had some shoes on that I was getting sore feet from. We stopped at you store at Mindil Beach Markets where I got a pair of Slappa’s. They felt good when I tried them on and seriously I haven’t had them off my feet since. They have travelled to Bali with me (late last year), Fiji with me (this year) and ready to go to Bali again (next week) they are my new travel companion!
